The devastating impacts of the AIDS epidemic and the COVID-19 pandemic left countless families shattered, with many children facing the unimaginable reality of growing up without parents. These children, once full of dreams, were left to navigate life without the basic necessities—food, shelter, and education.

The economic struggles in the area, largely driven by a reliance on agriculture, further compounded the challenges families faced.
